It is definitely one of those jobs when you keep saying "I should have just bought a new frame". They aren't too expensive, but where's the fun in that? And after investing the time in replacing the front, what's another day or two.
But for my next truck, assuming I finish this one someday, I think I'll be shopping out west. But this is a great learning experience and it's nice to bring one back from the dead.
