Third member gaskets

So with the 4.89 third member, in the centered rear axle, it needs three diff housing gaskets to get the proper spacing. Of course i have two in my hands now. Lol. My question is what is the thickness of three? Im thinking about getting gasket material in that thickness to prevent using three and just have one. Advisable? No?
