They started framing up the new shop. Working from rear to the front on the blue roof. They are removing the truss system on the original building and going up one more floor. There is a add/on of 24x17 ft of 2 story at the rear forming a "L" shape. From that point forward there will be a covered 24x30 space with wall to the ground on one side and open front.
That is where the steel 1-Ton Rated I-Beam is going across the top at 16 ft off the ground. I will hang a rolling electric hoist off it for big things needing lifted. Under the hoist area will be a concrete slab with slope to a drain in the concrete floor. The upstairs area is clear span open all the way around the 2nd floor. Closed in space is 3,185 sq. ft. Closed in hoist area 720 sq. ft. covered with 16 ft ceiling height.
