Lucky for me it came with good siped tires, "Courser Traction LT" on the rear and "Monarch" on the front. Never heard of either one. The "Coursers" look like regular old-school deep lug snow tires. They're probably old but the truck must have been kept in the shade because there's no weather-checking. The local tire shop tells me pretty much the only 17.5s available these days are trailer tires, so I'm not sure what I'll do when I need new rubber. The rears will go a long time, but after the recent ~3000 mi hauling trips, the first trip with the toe-in way off, the fronts are showing wear. If you find some good 17.5 truck tires, I'd be curious to know what you came up with.
