Light-duty plasma cutter?

Looking for a plasma cutter but can't afford the $2K-$4K for a really good one. All I used my old one for was thin stainless and regular steel sheet, and aluminum up to 1/8" or so. I'm happy to cut thick steel with the old acetylene set. Is anybody making an affordable but reliable plasma torch that will just do the thin stuff?
