I put CUCV rears under my 53 but keeping the original steering, i`m putting a 440 auto and 205 transfer case in and keeping my original e-brake, i`m keeping the PTO winch but using the 251 frame extensions and going with the master cylinder on the firewall. I have not had to butcher a thing and everything seems to fit. I took the stock seat out and put lil red express seats in which fit inside the original seat mounting.
