Thanks to all... I will also include some code notes I lost, so I just verified these codes: #12 - Battery connection (I am not clear on this. We had to buy a new battery to move and drive the truck, and it seems fine) #37 - Torque converter clutch solenoid. #42 - Auto Shutdown Relay. No other codes.

Previous owner replaced EGR valve, PCV valve, Coolant Temperature Sensor and Auto Shutdown Relay. I replaced all spark plugs. I have run a can of Seafoam through the gas tank.

When he gave up, it was running poorly. I found one aftermarket fuel injector very erratic due to bent pins on installation. I replaced both fuel injectors. It ran much better at that point, so I bought it from him and drove it home; about 75 miles. No problems at all.

daveyk... what does "O2s not switching" mean? What do I need to look at on this?

What is AIS? Air Injection System?

For what it's worth, this has a CAT with a single air injection tube, and the O2 sensor is upstream of it.
