Cool! Somebody actually knows what distributor curves are!
What worked for me, empty truck, 5° initial, then advances 5 more at 700 rpm, 15 at 2300, and 25 @ 3600. Which was pretty close to a factory spec that I really had to dig for.
Oh yeah, I'm running a slant six electronic system. I had to also limit the vac advance.
A bigger one bbl carb will let a flat head scream. Relatively.
