I like the mount. On mine I will have 2 mounts one on the side of the bed and one on the bottom of the bed near the cab. I am using a M37 tire mount star bar holder and welding a lug nut under the bed with a 1" hole drilled thru the steel and the lug nut welded under the bed. Same thing on the side so I can move it for a load if needed to mount on the bed side.
