My friend that is in the banking business explained quanitive easing to us the other day.
Bottom line was if you had one million us dollars in the early 1970s you would need 31 million today to remain static.
Run the numbers on the price of new vehicles multiplying the 1970 price by 31 and they are still a deal. Problem is multiply you wages from then to now and things look bad. I would have to make 217.00 per hour to maintain but welders might make 30.00
