Like Vaughn said. Any good NLGI #2 grease will be fine; a synthetic of the same grade will be best. I found it takes three tubes to get the correct amount of grease in my joints. Pull up a stool and start pumping. Lastly, living in a southern climate, I reasoned that corn head grease would be too thin. I chose Caterpillar Desert Gold NLGI #2, as that concoction had the properties I was looking for in hot weather. Again, any reputable NLGI #2 will do the trick.

One word of caution, be sure you don't accidentally mix up greases with incompatible thickening agents. Lithium is the most common thickener, and I would highly recommend choosing a lithium type grease if you use it elsewhere in the truck. In using the Desert Gold grease I referenced above, I chose it knowing that it is incompatible with lithium greases, and for that reason use it exclusively on my truck.
