So far I just held it up next to the frame and looked at how it could go. I need to jack the front tires off the ground and see how far the linkage moves back and forth. Then see where it could bolt onto the frame and clamp it on tempory. I figure I can turn the shaft by hand and see how the Newer Dodge box swings and measure the throw both ways. With the weight off the tires it is easy to steer it. Then I can make up some running thread or rods to attach to the levers and crank it full both ways and watch it move around. Also need to take into consideration the up and down movement of the axle. Lots of little angles to deal with first just to see how it may work before doing anything to it. Nice part is I can do this with the original steering box still in place just unbolt it so it can slide back flush on the frame. If it can work I will pull my original stuff out and save it. Then take all the extra parts I have and modify them to fit. Then if it all goes to crap on me I can still go back to the original one to save my butt! Sorta like I did on the Power Brake System. Take it slow and measure a lot before cutting/bolting anything. That part cost nothing to do and can save a bunch of problems later.
