A friend's son recently did a logging job. He had to cut the butt logs off anywhere from 6' to 12' because they were a bigger diameter than the mill would take. They were all down over the side below the road. My friend's son wanted to skid them up to the road so wood cutters could use the wood. The inspectors wouldn't let him do it. Said they didn't want anyone cutting firewood in that particular area. This is our government's mentality. Remember all the posts about leaving behind thousands of Jeeps, trucks, etc., after the military pulled out of various areas? Same stupidity.
