When I was in Everett, there was a guy who had a real nice early WC (not sure which one now) project. He had all the sheet metal removed, straightened, and primed. He'd rebuilt the axles, gearboxes, and I think the motor. Brakes were gone through and fixed. Frame and running gear were all cleaned and painted black. He had it back together to the point of being a rolling chassis and was just putting the cab on. Everything was there and all the hard stuff were done. He got tired of the project and was out of money and said he'd take $3000 for it as it sat. Money was tight, but I could have scraped up $3000. However, I didn't have any covered place to put it and it seemed a shame to leave it out in the weather even a little, especially in Everett. I still wish I'd bought it even if I'd had to rent a garage, but I hope whoever did buy it really appreciated it and finished the project in the way that it deserved.
