I used to have a Model 22 Cat with a manual angle blade off a D4. That was really a nice little machine for plowing, although it could have been a little lower geared.
My Meyer plow has been on 4 different trucks. It's an 8' Commercial blade with some wings on the side to make it into a scoop. I like it better than my Hiniker V plow in some ways.
I have had the truck stuck and been able to push it backward with the side angle enough to gain traction to get unstuck. Pretty impressive hydraulics. The Hiniker won't do that!
