I have lost 53 lbs since September 1. I had some bad stress in my personal life cause me to lose sleep and not eat much for a while. It kicked started the weight loss and I simply continued the process after other things started improving. I have basically cut back on the amount I eat. I bet I eat 25% of what I once ate for every meal. Cut out the crap. I eat fruits at night when I have the munchies instead of chips and summer sausage and cheese or left overs. When the weather is good and try and go on a 2 mile walk but lately I have not due to being too cold. Part of my stress was a cancer scare which turned out to be completely false but during all the tests I got a full blood work up and saw all my sugar and cholesterol levels. All were good levels and I was a low cardiac risk. I am not on some crazy diet. I simply eat less then what I once did. I am feeling better then I have felt in 15 years probably. Sleeping better. Waking up better. My knees and back feel better. Over all things are just better.
