In April 2015 I bought a new Dodge (still can't call it a "Ram") 2500 4wd with the 6.4 (392) V8 with the Tradesman trim level. I paid around $34k out the door. The 6.4 v8 got me 10k gvw and the 11.5 AAM rear axle, same as the Diesels. It has manual windows and door locks, basic radio, and the cloth seat/carpet option. It gets better fuel mileage than my 2wd '08 2500 with 5.7 and manual trans, even with the 4wd and a tare weight of 6,700#. No complaints, so far with 11,000 miles. The '08 is at 201k with no major issues (still driving it), so I hope the '15 serves me as well.
