I'm from south east of Buffalo, what they call the snow belt. I remember 3 ft of snow in a day due to lake effects. Thankfully I was raised on a farm, we got plowed or the snow blower got to us first, several more farms down the road, we had to get milk to the plant so stores would have it when roads cleared.
