Getting another 7-8" of snow by tomorrow may need the extra weight soon! I will have to make the tail gate. It won't look right trying to fit a Dodge one in there. Going to leave out the cylinders to raise it but going to have 4 hinges on it to open down or up. Plus being able to unlock all 4 and remove the tail gate completely. I will put a gusset under the 12" lip into the angle to make the rear strong plus a stiffener up to the bed rail on the top of the sides. Cab end will be no problem since it will have steel all the way across the back tied into the sides with angle iron and bolts thru it. That way the steel angle holds the corners together and bolts holds on the angle iron. Not sure yet how high up it will go in the back but I want to see out my window. Might go with some expanded steel over the glass on the end section. I have room for a roll bar between the bed and cab that can tie into the frame to figure out still. So plenty of stuff to do on it now for a while!
