I think ya just answered where half the problem is comin from.
¼ line from the compressor is begging for ice in the restriction.
I still can't see where you're getting water from with your ambient temeperature though.
You want as large of a diameter and as short of a hose as you can get from compressor to Bendix input. You may even want to sleve it with pipe insulation to hold the heat to the dryer.
Something in the pipingis causing it to become a refrigerated stream chiller.
