I don't recall where or when I first heard that 40 pounds to the 1" square foot rule, but I think I have been using that for close to 40 years now.
And at this point in time, I am also saying congrats on the awesome job you are doing on your 6X6. That is a lot of work to accomplish in that much time, --- 10 or 11 months. Plus I will also say I have learned a lot from all your posts and pictures. JJB.
