I could be mistaken, but I think your rear angle iron is upside down. The rear angle uses the 2 holes at the back of the frame extensions to hold the winch to the top of the extensions, not the bottom. Winches on both of my '57 W-100 and 200 are as I describe. If you wish, I will email you pics....
