I have one email address (thank you Phil Street and t137.com) that I use to post under here almost exclusively. The bots definitely scan and pick this up as that address is loaded up with spam every day. This has gotten so bad that I clean it out about once a week by dumping everything and probably inadvertently delete some legitimate emails in the process. But, it keeps spam away from my home address. (Anyone wanting to contact me should put something "Power Wagon" in the subject line.)
Have not notice any slow down here. I am on fiber from our local telephone company.
Thanks Joe, for what probably amounts to, more often than not, a basically thankless job.
