Doubt that it has the 9&5/8" third member in it. Possibly has the 8&3/4" third member with full floating axle shafts or even the smaller semi-floating third member. Believe that third member had the 8.25" ring and pinion. Lowest numbered ratio available on the 9&5/8" third member that I have found through research is 4,89. Some claim that a 4.30 ratio was available on the EU series route van, but searching through a 1958-59 Mopar truck parts catalog the lowest ratio I could find was 4.89. Chrysler Corp did have a special parts Div. or some name like that where you could special order parts, so maybe going that route, you could order up a specially made 4.30 third member. Could be right, could be wrong. Just my 2cents worth.
