Still waiting on a few parts to get here and should finish the brakes today inside out of the new 6" of snow. Got my controls ordered for the air cylinders that will work the tail gate. This makes it easy to do it all from the side box the compressor is in using some wires going to a set of switches in the cab.
It has 4- 5/way 12vdc electric operated valves to work dual action air cylinders fed by one source and 2 exhaust ports. This should take care of anything I want to do with air on the truck. Air cylinders are cheap and the new valve was only $50.00 way cheaper than I thought it would be. I want one to un/lock the tail gate and another to open/close it minimum. Then I can play with a few other ideas that may come up later and not have to change a bunch of fittings.
