The cargo was industrial surplus -- just boxes and buckets but it quickly ended up a lot heavier than the lathe and milling machine of the previous trip. I could have fit more in space-wise, but knew I was already pushing it for weight. I got real close to 10 mpg both directions. Not sure why it isn't better than that empty. That's with the weber carb, and everything else stock, cruising about 55 mph on the flats.
