Mark, what kind of spark plug wires are you using? If you are using the original style type, steel wire then your static is coming from those, been their done that. The only fix is noise suppressors for each spark plug wire including the coil wire or you need to run the modern spark plug wires. The power filter won't do any good. At least for me It didn't.
