I got no reference table for your power brake system, but I can tell you a GMC 3/4 ton with 4 cam type air brakes and 125 pounds of air will stop from 30mph at least 21 feet behind where the driver stepped on the brake pedal.
Your shoulder strap may keep you in the seat rather than on top of the dash when the vehicle comes to a complete stop. Only 1 way to find out.
Have you considered an air bag for the steering wheel? Wheelbarrow inner tube might work.
