few days ago bought four old popular science magazines for a buck apiece, in the Feb. of 1946 issue found a half page info article on the new dodge truck that has a winch on the front and a belt drive pully on the back, it went thru a short description of the new truck but never mentioned the word power wagon, said it was born of the ww2 trucks, and showed a small part of the front end showing the winch, and then the rear pully. I wonder if it was an offical release of info, a leak or just before it was named? it is the earliest mention of the power wagon I have seen in a book. P.S. it's on page232. Dave.
