The US government had the time, money and manpower to track him down and shoot and kill a woman holding a loaded baby in a cabin door window, because he hacksawed off a shotgun a bit too short.
Or how about the time, money and manpower to burn out Koresh and his church instead of just nabbing him on the street when he went into town?
Or how about the jackbooted thugs in California who are now going door to door to pick up LEGALLY REGISTERED SKS rifles that they have now declared as "assault weapons"?
If you want to take this to the extreme, how about a school that someone posted here would not allow an olive drab Jeep with stars on it in the school parking lot because it was a "weapon of war"?
Going further, ask the family in New York who put fine mesh around their property to keep the rattlesnakes out. Only to have a judge envoke the endangered species act and declare that putting up the mesh somehow harmed the snakes.
Or that folks in orgon are using the "3 S's" on Spotted owls because if gov.org or the environterrorists find one on your property they shut you down? (3 S's - Shoot it, Shovel it, Shut up about it.)
I can go on and on in rant mode about gov.org abuses.... but... must... resist... hands... reaching... for... keyboard.... must.... stop.....
