We had these grid resistance defrosters in Germany in 1959-62. They were installed on all 3rd Armored Div. 503rd MP CO.jeeps, and m-37's. I presently own a 68 M37 with the fender mounted heater, with defroster kit. Like a previous responder said. It is ugly.
