'51 was first year for m-37,, suspect title typo somewhere ( my 51 is titled as a '57,,, none made in '57). I believe original delivery date should be on data plate on glove compartment door,, if not SR# can be used to indicate year. Zentmyer book on m-37 should have sr#s built in each year,,, have not seen my copy in a while,,hmmm.. if not mistaken the defrost units available mounted on "drivers side" of dash, kina ugly buggers...
