I disagree. in most cases, Spiders have the same number of teeth as the side gears, but it would have no effect on this problem if there number of teeth differed. When you input x drive shaft rotations, you should be able to count 2*x/gear ratio wheel turns. In your case, only one wheel is off of the ground so you need to input 5.89 drive shaft turns which will make the wheel go around twice. If you have both wheels off of the ground and spinning together(such as a lincoln locker) then you would expect two wheels to turn 1 turn each for every 5.89 rotations. Most locker will work similar when not under load, but when they are locked then you must turn both wheels. I am just trying to add yet another explaination and I hope that this helps.
