I am having a BBQ this Sunday from 1-5PM
at my place for just Power Wagon Nuts. The goal for the BBQ is for guys (&
gals) in the Bay Area & their Power Wagons to get together for a few hours
and "network", have a burger, and swap PW information. So far there is about
a half dozen (+) planning on showing up with their Power Wagons ranging from
a 1950 M37 to a mid 70s D300 (ex firetruck from Oakland). Myself, I have a 53
civilian FlatFender Power Wagon "under construction" but running & driving.
We may find ourselves discussing a get-together for the spring and include a
camping trip & trail run at Hollister (just a thought on my part). We would
like to have you join us this Sunday if:
You got Dodge Fever
Have or have the desire to have a Power Wagon
Or just plain love America and want to be around others that do also!
The only "show" is crazy Power Wagon tricks I hear Maui Dave can't help doing when
he gets near a crowd. It might get pretty crazy cause I think he may be
starting to experience "Mainland Fever".
Drop me an email (RSVP) if you think you can make it up to San Mateo for a
burger this Sunday and I'll send the address & directions from 101. And
remember, I have plastic sprinkler pipes so please don't park on the grass!
