Yes, they are less popular, but many are selling for (not asking but actually selling) for $2500 w/o winch in nice condition with all canvas and troops seats, brake job, and running good. They sure don't bring much more than that, though, as decent M35's can be found starting there and up.

Some parts are quite cheap. You can do a brake job on an M135/M211 for less money than on an M37.

The transmission is the weak link. They are not overly expensive to overhaul, but they just don't stand up to rough use. The M35 is a far more popular truck. The M35 was used all over the world, whereas the M135/M211 was mainly used by the 8th Army in the far east. The motor is not overly powerful either.

The M135 is the six wheel version with 1100x20 tires while the 10 wheel M211 uses 900x20 tires.

I have a friend in Portland who is selling an M211, if anyone is interested. It's as I described above, with an overhauled transmission.
