This stuff can certainly be changed. For me, using Internet Explorer, I click on 'Tools' in the top bar, then 'internet options', that pops up a window of internet options. On the 'general' tab, at the bottom is a 'colors' button. Click on the 'colors' button. On the right hand side of the resulting popup window you will see a 'links' area with 'visited' and 'unvisited' buttons. When you click on these it pops up a color chart and you choose whatever you want. Then click your 'OK' buttons until you're back out. Hope this helps.
