Remember the hostage crisis of Nov.'79 when the Iranians stormed the U.S. embassy. Well a year before this the Iranians had some of Ross Perot's computer company employees in jail awaiting trail for some trumped up charges. After trying diplomatic channels to free his people, Ross Perot tried something different and got his people out of Iran. You can read about in a book called "On The Wings of Eagles". A good book that will give the reader a good idea of the political unrest in Iran back then. Where Perot succeeded, former President Carter did not. Robert
