WWII was over 55 years ago. People, customs, religions, countires etc. were all so different. Terrorism and namely the countries that commit such acts were probably not even present. We became involved in WWII directly with countries which were known and presented worldwide threats. We conquered those countries to establish victory. That is the only way we can defeat terrorism is by conquering the countries, not the few in charge. Whew! What a thought.
