The rear axle bearing, oil seal housing has two little channel like vents on it. Do these point up or down? It seems like this was the only reason the grease was escaping from the axle into the brakes. The guy before me had put new brakes on it but, they were soaked and the two little channels were pointing to the ground. The other drum is dry and I didn't want to open it up if I didn't have to. Also what means does one use to remove the axles, besides a slide hammer. Thanks........
