Quarry and mine type, full time for years on end. I've never heard of a dirt bike racer ever getting it- ever seen a desert race? Did you see the dust cloud in "On any Sunday"? Valley fever, yes.

Ever heard of a boat builder with silicosis? I suspect cabosil + resin= big chunks compared to silica dust. But maybe they all die from resin fumes before the silica builds up? What are the fumes from polyester resin?

While I have been exposed to a lot of stuff, it's never been 'occupational' levels. Build furniture, then finish it, build some more, finish one day a week maybe. Build a truck for a year, finish it for a week. Or really, hammer and wrench for a week, finish for a day. Spray a while, take a walk to exhale whatever I might have inhaled in spite of using a clean air supply or hepa.
