We have a great fire dept in town! Takes 1 hour for them to respond with a 2500-3000 gal tender coming up the hill and your out of luck in the winter if you want a tender? My lake is frozen solid but my 6,000 gal tank under ground can be drafted from. I leave RV antifreeze in it to prime with for the winter. I have a 100 ft fire hose set up to bring in the house for fighting fire with. If you catch them fast you can put out the small one. If it grows they come up to keep the grass from burning to the next home. In other words your on your own.
