My truck is quite enough you can hear them make the metal to metal contact. The springs sit in a square opening with enough room to make the noise with little weight on the rear. Has nothing to do with the added tandem axles. My flat spot tires shake the hole truck going down the road way more in the 19 deg weather then when it was warm out.
