I came up from vegas then through the gorge late one night and there was 90 mph cross winds and it was closed to all motor homes and semis. I was doing about 85 in my 63 lesabre and had to hold the steering wheel a 1/4 turn to one side to keep it in a straight line. A trooper actually passed me doing about 95! We were probably the only vehicles for 10 miles either direction at the time.
