I have DOT5 fluid in my 49 Power wagon for over 15 years and have gone through 2 brake switches. I found that Ron Francis has brake switches that are not affected by Dot 5. I bought one 5 years ago , and guess what Ijust bought a another one this year. They are not cheap about $40. I would suggest going to a mechanical switch.
