1946 Dodge WDX Power Wagon.
A friend of mine, who was a dealer of military Dodge parts, bought this truck earlier this year in North Carolina. He passed away a few months ago, and I'm handling the sale of this truck for his wife.
It has the original 6 volt positive ground system, and I put in a new battery in August. It starts right up, and runs and yard drives. It needs brake work, as it has been stored for the last 12 years.
The carb needs to be cleaned or rebuilt; it hesitates when accelerating.
The engine is a 230 flathead with a T137 block.
The body is in good shape, with no rust.
It was repainted many years ago, and will need new paint.
The bed has dings and dents, and will need a new wood floor.
The tires are 9.00-16 NDTs in good shape.
There are four extra wheels, which are designed for the 7.50-16 tires, I was told they are the original wheels for the truck.
Located in Colchester, Vermont
Vermont does not title vehicles this old, so it is sold with a bill of sale only, that is all the paperwork the buyer will get.
$18,000 firm.
