almost seems it would be just as easy(pratical) to sandwich it between the trny and tc
a shaft splined on one end for the trans and splined on the other for the tc in a housing(like a lot of the married tc set ups use) that bolts the front of the od to the tranny and the rear of the od to the tc using shims to get the preload
but i could be out in left field
