into the stock support bracket ad move the support forward the distance you need in the sheet metal rather than a bracket on the bottom of the cross member
i kinda like doing it off the bottom of the crossmembet and use some body mounts to get to stock height and maybe quiet things down a bit--not sure if it will make a diff or not
at the same time bracket on the bottom looks like an after thought(like the grill ext.) so i may weld the ext into the stock bracket--i have an xtra one
