Yesterday was the last thing that I will do this year.
It was a Veteran's Day event at Collierville Tn. The group that puts it on takes donation and carries WW2 vet's back to where they fought, at no cost to the vets. They usually do about 4 trips a year. Last year they went to Normandy, Battle of Bulge, Italy, and Okinawa.
I have a bed kit coming from John, and will get it installed over the winter. I have several other smaller projects I'm going to do also.
At the Linden Tn (Remembering WW2) event, I carried around 8 WW2 vets in the Parade, and getting them in was fun. So I purchased a boarding ladder that I'm going to use on the tailgate to make it easier for them to get off and on. I have figured out how I'm going to do it, where it will be safe, but will not modify the truck any from the original tailgate.

These guys were truly amazing......
I'll start pulling out the old particle board that some one used as a floor in the truck next week. Wish me luck.....
