This truck was taken all the way down to a rolling chassis, Frame was sand blasted and all new steel brake lines, new steel fuel lines installed. A heavy truck mechanic re-did the bearings on each wheel, and also each brake wheel cylinder. Brake master cylinder was done also.

Many NOS parts were used including the rear fenders, tail gate, wiring harness, the wiring harness is for a later model of M-37 and now has 2 tail lights for road safety. Turn signal were also added. Head lights, black out lights all work. Unlike a lot of military vehicle restorations that are just driven into a sandblast booth and then painted OD green, this one has had every part of the body that could come apart, taken apart cleaned, and prepped for paint. There was very little rust, some that was found everything was cut out and new metal welded in. All parts were painted individually, and then assembled. Brand new non-directional tires were also installed. Engine was overhauled about 5 years ago by a company who specializes with race cars and engines. Engine was balanced rebuilt with reground crank, new cam, piston, rings, bearings etc. Gas tank and radiator have been totally refurbished.

New window glass. New OD green canvas for the top, seat covers, and canvas cargo cover for the bed. Have wood for benches and the steel post that hold them but they are not finished. I do not have the cargo canvas on as I keep it in my basement and it would then be too tall. Since the restoration, it has never seen any inclement weather. Has not been taken off road, or even gotten dirty, with the exception of a few weeds that got stuck when I drove in the yard or our grassy field.
Its been in a climate controlled environment.

I have about $20,000 wrapped up in this restoration. I need the room in my basement, so the truck needs to go.
