Trying to pry a window out after it is glued in is a pane.

Maybe a compromise is tape one side, glue one?

I've used Vul-Kem. It's a cheaper product, but similar to the stuff used to glue windshields to cars. For windshields and rear windows, I use some bits of old tape to keep the glass centered, then just squirt in enough of the polyurethane caulk to keep the water out. NOT fill the slot and push the glass in. I want to be able to pry it apart for repair, but be more water proof than the OE tape system. Windshield frames are very valuable, I'd hate to wreck one taking it apart.

The corner joint of side windows is also fragile. Having to wrestle it apart could break the metal parts.
